Microsoft Windows 11

I want to enable secure boot but I literally can't, I go to bios and the option is greyed out.

I researched a lot in the internet and saw a lot of solutions, None of them worked

My bios don't even have a fast boot option so I'm guessing it's not enabled (unless it is enabled but somehow doesn't show up in my bios)

The option to load HP default factory keys is also greyed out

I used the hp assistant to check for bios updates for windows 11 and my notebook doesn't even have a tab for windows 11

I don't know what to do anymore, i don't really want to reset my pc just to put windows 10 on it but im starting to think its the only way

Run the Windows system information app.

Check the BIOS mode line.

In order to enable Secure boot, the BIOS mode line must indicate UEFI.

If it indicates Legacy, you will have to reinstall Windows in UEFI mode or convert the drive from MBR to GPT.

It does say UEFI indeed

Then the only other suggestion I can offer would be to see if the steps I provided in this discussion work for you...

Step 1. Go into the BIOS and Load HP Factory Default Keys and see if Secure Boot becomes available.

Step 2. If it does not than go into the operating system and disable “Fast Boot” (Steps below).

How to Disable Windows 10 Fast Startup (lifewire.com)

Step 3. go back into your BIOS and try Load HP Factory Default Keys.

Step 4. enable Secure Boot at this point.

That's the thing, i saw that one post on my research and i poitned it out. When i go to my bios settings there's no Fast Boot option at all, and the Load HP Factory Default Keys is also greyed out... i have no idea why
