Hello

 

I'm trying to install the latest drivers for my laptop dc0017np and im having some problems.

By going in to the Software and drivers section for the product, there is only drivers from 2019 and below.

 

I tried installing the drivers from the intel website, but while installing I get an exit error code 8.

 

To give more details about this problem I noticed that going in to the device manager I'm not able to find any intel drivers on display drivers.

 

Hope you can help me 🙂

Hi:

 

According to chapter 1, page 1 of the service manual your notebook only has the discrete NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1070 graphics adapter, not the switchable Intel/Nvidia graphics.

That's why the Intel graphics driver won't install.

So there's no reason to have intel graphic drivers at all ?

That's correct. 

 

No reason to try and install the Intel graphics driver, because your notebook does not have an Intel GPU at all.
