Product: Hp omen 17-cb0005na
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My son currently has an ASUS FX705GM which has all the hardware to run it except a display port. I am looking at buying the HP omen which does have a mini display port. Just needed some assurance it will run it as at nearly £1500 it is not a cheap fix just to run the rift s. I would be most grateful if anyone has it running themselves on this machine. Many Thanks

Here is the specs page for the model you asked about. It shows it has a USB-C Thunderbolt connection with DisplayPort capability. It also has a dedicated Mini DisplayPort.

 

Look to where is says... External ports

Looks like it will work just wanted to be sure. Right I will buy the Laptop and keep everyone posted if it is successful. Thanks to Photoray002 for a speedy reply
