Product Name-HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec0xxx\
Product Number-7QS79UA#ABA
Mouse- Elan Input Device
I'm unable to use my mouse and keyboard at the same time. Elan doesn't have a section to turn off palmcheck or smartsense like Synaptic.

Thank you for posting on HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, I have a few troubleshooting steps we could try to fix the issue:
You can enable/disable the touchpad option from Control panel under Mouse option. Control panel contains settings of all the system device installed on the computer.
To disable the touchpad option on the computer, follow the steps below:
- Press Windows logo + X keys on the keyboard and select Control panel from the context menu.
- From the top right corner of the screen click on View by and select Large icons.
- Click on Mouse option from the window.
- Click on Device settings tab from the Mouse properties screen, button the Disable button to turn off the touchpad option.
- Click on Apply and OK.
- Close the window and check if the changes are effective.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
