Changing graphic card on Pavillion Laptop

I have a Pavilion Laptop Gaming with i5+ 8th Gen and an NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX. How can I know what type of graphic card came with my Laptop and how can I know what other graphic cards it can support? I play games with it and the graphic card is not the best, I wish to change it, but don't know where to start looking.

Hi:

The graphics adapter is an integral part of the motherboard, not a removable card.

The only way to upgrade the graphics would be to replace the motherboard with one listed in chapter 3 of your notebook's service manual that may come with better graphics.

Because your notebook is relatively new having an Intel 8th gen core processor, the costs associated with such an upgrade would come close to what you originally paid for the notebook, making such an upgrade a very poor return on investment.

Does changing the Intel Optane and the RAM makes a difference? I’ve seen RAM cards for gaming and they are more expensive, what’s the difference?

Don't get the gaming memory.

The timings are different than the standard memory and you can't change the memory XMP profile in the BIOS.

The gaming memory may not even work since you can't change the timing specs in the BIOS.

Thanks, then I’ll just add another RAM in the second empty slot from the same brand as the one I have and an intel optane of the same brand, but with higher capacity.
