Product: Victus by HP Gaming Laptop 15-fa0000 (680A7AV)

I can’t find a charger on hp that my laptop takes. Is there anyway I can contact hp directly to order a new charger. Buying it online is risky because I’ve seen people say their new charger fried their motherboard. I really don’t want to buy from amazon if there’s a risk my laptop can break. I would love to just buy it from hp.

The product number you posted indicates the PC comes with the 200W power adapter:

 

HP PartSurfer

 

Unfortunately, the power adapter you need for your notebook is on backorder at the HP parts store and costs $162.03, and that does not include the power cord that goes from the wall socket to the adapter.

 

HP 200W Smart AC Adapter L00818-850 | HP Parts Store

 

What I suggest you do is to go on eBay and find a new or used but tested and working genuine HP power adapter that references that part number.

 

Make sure it comes with the power cord if you don't have that.
