Charging Indicator Issue

Hello,

My laptops charger is 150w. When I plug it in, the red led indicator right beside starts to flicker but the laptop shows that its plugged in and the battery is on 70%. What's the issue here? I live in a place where voltage and electricity goes up and down. Please help me
