Hello, the past week, my cursor, whenever I switch between games or like applications, it lags and jumps before then going back to normal. In my games, it freezes and locks and then presses left-click and right-click when I am not pressing them on my mouse. I first thought it was my mouse, so I switched mice, but the same thing is happening no matter what mouse I use, and it even happens when I unplug all mice and use my touchpad. It is so annoying and I really do not know what is causing it, all my drivers are updated and everything and it is not the mouse because it is happening with multiple mice. Please any suggestions or help would be amazing. Thank you.

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.
Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, however, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:
- Did you make any changes on the settings of your PC prior to the issue?
- When was the last time it worked fine?
Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8. (Refer to the removable and sealed battery)
BIOS default:(do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)
- Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
- Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
- On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
- Press F10 to Save and Exit.
- Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
- Follow the prompts to restart your computer.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

Hey, I fully reset the laptop, like factory reset it, and it is still doing it ugh. I seriously do not know what else to do. I also did not make any changes prior to the glitch and I cannot remember when it was last normal. This is so annoying as sometimes it even clicks my mouse for me.

Thank you for posting back.
I appreciate your efforts to try and isolate the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the computer as issue persists even after performing system recovery and in order to fix this issue, your computer needs to be serviced. As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.
I would request you to contact our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to sort this out. HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link: www.hp.com/contacthp/
