I type the powercfg.exe /hibernate off into the command prompt and it doesn't show any other text. So I am gonna assume that it worked. When I go to do the "Choose what does the power button does" and click on the "Change settings that are currently unavailable", it only shows Sleep and Lock. Here's a picture from my PC.
Furthermore, when I put my computer to sleep and come back to it after an hour. The laptop is unable to turn on from sleep? So I have to hold the power button to turn off and then power button again to turn it on. Help!

@GeneBean1 I suggest you make a few changes to the way sleep mode works under power options:
- Change - "Put the computer to sleep" to preferred time,
- And Change - "Turn off the monitor" to never.
If the issue persists, try the below steps:
Disabling the hybrid sleep, followed by updating all available Windows updates and the BIOS update from the HP website, please follow the below steps to disable the hybrid sleep after performing a hard reset on the device should help resolve the issue.
-
In Windows, search for and open Control panel.
-
Make sure the View by setting is set to Category, and then click Hardware and Sound.
-
Click Power Options.
-
Click Change plan settings for the power plan that is selected.
-
Click Change advanced power settings.
-
Expand Sleep, and then expand Allow hybrid sleep.
-
Select Off from the On battery drop-down menu, and then select Off from the Plugged in drop-down menu.
-
Click OK.

So I did every steps and solutions each time the computer goes to sleep. Now something interested occurred today. After 2 days without any problem, this time the computer actually goes to blue screen with the middle saying "Shutting down." At first I ignored the problem and turn it back on but the problem occurs after 5 hours later. Help!!!

Thank you for posting back.
I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. I would suggest performing system factory reset will put the computer back to the original factory settings in this way all corrupted and outdated software will be removed.
While doing the recovery there is an option to backup your personal files. If you have not previously done one now is a good time.
Restoring Files that were Backed Up Using HP Recovery Manager (Windows )You can also contact HP support for assistance. They can remotely access your system to help alleviate difficulties: www.hp.com/contacthp/
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool allows you to download recovery software to a USB drive. You can use the downloaded recovery image file in order to install the Windows operating system.
