Hello everyone, I'm interested into upgrading my laptop and boost it with an extra Ram since upcoming games seem to demand more. I would like to know for my HP OMEN 17-cb0011nv , which is a recommended upgrade? To get one of 32 or 2x of 16 or 2x of 32 and whats the voltage issues it might cause in case of the upgrade. I mean would it affect the temperature by making my laptop hotter?
By the way its easier for me to get another model of RAM from another company and not the same with the stock ram. What do I need to conside in order to have a smooth and nice upgrade for my laptop.
Thanks in advance for any kind of reply you are willing to provide me. I'll take them all into consideration.

The specs of your machine is
https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c06408072
It has 16 GB DDR4-2666 SDRAM (2 x 8 GB) - both slots are occupied. You can upgrade to
(a) 32GB using the following compatible RAM (will run at 2666MHz)

or https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/bl2k16g32c16s4b/ct16745296
(b) 64GB (max) using the following compatible RAM

I've been skeptical on the reviews for the 32gb ballistix ram ,where, quite ,all people mention that there is some kind of a problem with the compatibility. I would be really into it since i would like a boost to 3.200mhz for better performance but could you tell me if my system would recognise that ram automatically? Thanks again for your time and any answer would be valuable for me.
