Current BIOS version

I have an HP Omen 15-dh1060nr. The product number is 2Q220UA#ABA. 

Please assist,

I checked msinfo 32 for my Omen current BIOS version & it's AMI F41 dated 10/18/2023. Does anyone know if this is the most current BIOS version for my Omen?

It's a possible problem related to updating to Windows 11.

Also, the Omen B&O speakers stopped working & a software upgrade is not possible due to a missing audio driver INF file. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I don't know if these two issues are related. 

Currently, the Omen BIOS stops hardware diagnosis check at 80%. 

I visited HP support , and there are no new drivers for my Omen model related to Windows 11 upgrade i.e., they end at Windows 10.

The latest BIOS update for your notebook is F.45.

Generally but not guaranteed, it is OK to update the BIOS using in W11 with the W10 update but if you want you can make a USB BIOS recovery drive with the BIOS update and update the BIOS outside of Windows.

Did you try (re)installing the latest Audio driver from your notebook's support page?

If not, you may want to give that a try.

Will any f45 bios update be acceptable i.e., is there one specifically F45 bios update suitable for my model laptop?

Using HP Support assistant, it directed me to use Device Manager for BIOS update. According to Device Manager System firmware, the existing F41 is acceptable.

Further, when I go to the HP Omen page for my model's driver updates (for audio), the only option is for Windows 10 updates, & I'm currently running Windows 11. My only other option is to pay for HP support. I hope to avoid paying

I updated my BIOS to F45. I went into the BIOS afterwards and it looks fine. I tried to load the Audio driver provided, but couldn't. I'm hoping this BIOS update allows me to update other software. Nevertheless, updating the BIOS is a relief.  I'll continue trying to fix the audio. 🙂
