Hi I have a problem everytime I boot up It says CMOS Reset 502 problem

Does my Hp Omen 15 dc0094tx Have a cmos Battery or should I replace the battery

The main battery is also stuck at 0%

 

When I diagnose it in HP diagnostics tool it says OK_DEEP_DISCHARGE

Should I replace the battery or CMOS

Hi:

 

Most HP notebooks that come with an internal battery, do not have a CMOS (RTC) battery.

 

The internal battery is supposed to maintain the BIOS and Real Time Clock (RTC) settings.

 

If you look at chapter 3 of the service manual at the link below, there is no part listed for a CMOS (RTC) battery.

 

If you look at chapters 5 & 6 of the service manual, there is no procedure to remove and replace the CMOS (RTC) battery.

Now the Problem is my Battery which is stuck at 0% and when I diagnose it says OK_DEEP_DISCHARGE

How do I fix that?

Should I buy a new one?

You're very welcome.

 

It's possible that you need a new battery.

 

I would run the battery diagnostics test (F2) in the BIOS and see what it reports.
