Hi, The laptop I am using is an HP Pavillion Gaming Laptop 17-cd0xxx. The CPU is an Intel i5-9300h and the GPU is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050. I currently have a 512GB SSD installed and would like to know if there is an additional SSD slot on this model. I plan to add an 1TB SSD if possible to have more space on my device. Thank you.

Hi:
Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 17 Laptop PC
Chapter 1 has the supported drive types and configurations.
Your notebook has support for one 2.5" drive (mechanical or SATA SSD), and one M.2 NVMe SSD.
I recommend that if you need more storage, that you replace the 512 GB NVMe SSD with one having a greater storage capacity.
Most likely none of the parts are there to easily install a 2.5" drive.
Only the drive cable has a part number to add a 2.5" drive, and can be found in chapter 3.
You'd have to figure out how to secure the drive.
