Yes it is still in warranty. im from the philippines specifically in iloilo city. I brought my laptop to the service center which was recommended by people where i bought my laptop. They just calibrated the battery by draining it and charge. I dont know actually the problem of this unit.

Create a case with the link I gave you and contact a Support agent through the link.

Simply recalibrating the battery is not going to work.

In the mean time, You could try running the UEFI Diagnostics Tool from boot.

HP How to use Diagnostics

See if it will run long enough to do that.

Unplug everything and do a Hard Reset by holding the power button in for 10 seconds.

Then plug the power cord in.

Rapidly tap the F2 key after pressing the power button and go to System Tests and run the Quick and Extensive tests.

If you find nothing, go to  Component Tests. Run the tests for Processor, Memory, hard drive, power, system board, video.

If it gives you and error at some point, stop. That will give you something to go by when you contact Support.

f2 doesnt work it just checking disk and it logs in already

You have to rapidly keep tapping it repeatedly, right after you press the power button.

Are you doing this?

Try the Esc key if not, then choose F2 from the menu that appears.

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

In order that I may provide you with an accurate solution, I will need a few more details and I would appreciate if you could, perhaps elaborate on your concern.

  • What is the exact model for your computer?
  • What is the operating system you are using?
  • What is the exact issue you are facing?
  • Have you made any software or hardware changes on the computer?
  • Have you performed any troubleshooting steps before posting?

Look forward to hearing from you and you have a great day!

Take care.

Cheers!
