Good evening,

today i upgraded the storage with a 2TB 2,5''SSD on the SATA-slot on my HP-OMEN [Productnr: 2K0K1EA#ABD] which i bought in december last year. I opened the Laptop and everything works pretty good.

But then i saw an other free PCIe-slot. In total, 2 PCIe-slots and 1 SATA-slot are available.

Question: Are both PCIe-slots AND the 2,5-SATA-slot usable? Are these slots PCIe-3 or PCIe-4

Thanks in advance.

I know you can use one M.2 slot and one 2.5" bay for storage. I believe we can also use the second M.2 slot for storage or for Optane.

Both M.2 NVMe slots are PCIe Gen 3.

Regards.

Thanks for your quick answer. Is it possible to use with these PCIe-Gen3-Slots a SSD with PCIe-Gen4 or isnt it useful cause the PCIe Gen3-slot doesnt support the full speed of a PCIe-Gen4-SSD?
