Product: HP Omen
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am trying to download the HP Omen control app, but every time I download it and try to open it, a system error pops up saying "The code execution cannot proceed because SynCom.DLL was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem". I'm not sure where to go from here

You have to use Windows Store to install OCC directly.  Please Open Windows Store, search for OCC and Install.
