Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue

i see that your HP Victus 16.1-inch Gaming Laptop (model 16-r0000) is crashing when launching Dune Awakening from Steam.

I suggest you download the latest Nvidia graphics drivers from their website, which were recently released.

Ensure Game Runs on GPU

Using HP Omen Gaming Hub:

Open the HP Omen Gaming Hub.

Navigate to the Graphics Switcher tab.

Select the NVIDIA GPU.

Using Windows Settings:

Go to Settings > System > Display.

Scroll down and click on Graphics settings.

Browse and select Dune Awakening.

Click Options and choose High Performance.

Adjust power settings:

Set Power Plan to High Performance:

Open Control Panel > Power Options.

Select High Performance as the active power plan.

I hope this helps.

Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks!!!   I had already done all of your suggestions except Omen Gaming app.  Installed it and while playing around, cleaned up my system.  Clearing the Steam cache fixed it.  This was driving me crazy  lol.
