I already had the most up-to-date BIOS so I took the bottom of the laptop off. It looked pretty clean, I turned the laptop on its side and powered it on so I could watch the fans spin. Only one fan they didn't come on at all? I remembered seeing in BIOS a setting for fans on all the time and went in and turned that on. That made one fan work when I booted it up. So I swapped fans to see if the other one was bad and it worked? So I went to Amazon and bought two identical replacement fans and they came the next day. I pulled the heat sink off the cpu and gpu cleaned up the thermal paste and applied fresh Artic Silver. And replaced both fans with the new ones. But still only one fan turns on when booted and the setting for fans always on set to enabled in BIOS?
