Hello,

I have a default SSD with 512 GB(M2) and I want to know if I can expand to more memory (space available?).

If there is some space, tell me it must be an M2 or could be a SATA?

Thank u all

The specs of your machine is

    https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05682415

It has 512 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD for storage now. I think you are asking for storage, not memory

Manual for the series

            http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c06002077.pdf

It does support DUAL storage (page #1) with M.2 SSD + 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD therefore you can ADD more storage to your machin using 2.5" HDD/SSD (1TB or 2TB).

You need to buy the following 2 parts first

  • Hard drive bracket kit part # 929561-001
  • Hard drive connector cable part # 929450-001

You can buy parts from

        http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=929450-001

        http://partsurfer.hp.com/Search.aspx?searchText=929561-001

or  use part # to buy elsewhere

and install 2.5" Drive (HDD or SSD) to your machine.

Regards.
