OMEN Transcend 14 Laptop. Warranty already expired on purchase. I've raised a case and provided proof of purchase on 12 August 2025 and still have received no update despite stating it should be 1 business day. How can I get any update?
Also - the 1TB SSD is really not sufficient, I need at least 2TB. How do I upgrade effectively when I understand there is only one SSD slot?

Hi @wbroadley42,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding the OMEN Transcend 14-inch Gaming Laptop PC 14-fb0000.
To help you with your case, could you please provide the case number that you raised on 12 August 2025? This will allow us to track your request and assist you more efficiently in following up with the support team regarding the delay.
Regarding your SSD upgrade query:
- The OMEN Transcend 14 typically comes with one M.2 NVMe SSD slot, which limits the storage upgrade options to a single drive.
- However, if you’re looking to upgrade to a 2TB SSD, you can replace the existing 1TB SSD with a 2TB one, but please ensure it’s a compatible M.2 2280 NVMe SSD.
If you'd like, I can help you identify compatible options or guide you through the upgrade process. Let me know how you’d like to proceed.
Once you share the case number, we’ll be able to check the status of your request and expedite a resolution for you.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have an amazing day!
