Hp omen 15 dc 1025cl
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I wanted to hookup an external 144hz monitor to my hp omen 15 dc 1025cl laptop. Monitor will be Asus VG258Q. So my questions are:

1. Will thunderbolt 3 to displayport 1.2 give me 1080p@ 144hz and gsync on the external monitor ?

2. Will mini dp to dp 1.2 give 1080p@ 144hz and gysnc on the external monitor?

I would be highly grateful to you, who can answer my questions

@AbdulGodly

At the end of the day, you are looking for resolution and refresh rates of  DP 1.2 port. Please check the following article (first table)

            https://www.cablematters.com/blog/DisplayPort/does-displayport-support-144hz

The normal rule is refresh rates going up, resolution will go down

Regards.
