Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

This issue happened a while for some games, after activate for a short time (in 30s ~ 2 minute), FPS would get huge drop like from 50 fps to 8 fps and cause stuttering like slowly viewing slideshows.
Example for games which FPS would have huge drop:

Divinity: Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition

Code Vein
Apex
Conqueror's blade
Example for games which FPS never appear huge drop:
League of legends
Crossout
Warframe

I had look up and try some solution such as adjust NVIDIA graphic card setting, windows update, firewall....etc. But non of those work.
I wonder if there's any solution that would resolve the FPS drop problem.

Hi@memeclone, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Apologize for the issue with the display. We understand don't worry I'll try to help you out. let's try a few troubleshooting steps to fix the issue.

Check if the BIOS is up to date?

Tried Adding the game to High performances in the Nivida control panel?

Download GEFORCE EXPERIENCE updates the gaming drivers.

Turn on Game Mode. Game Mode is a new feature in Windows 10 Update that improves gaming performance by limiting background processes and programs from using system resources while a game is running.

Press the Windows key and G to open the Game bar.

In the game bar, click Settings.

Click the check box next to the game title to enable Game Mode for that game.

Plug notebook PCs into an AC adapter to give the graphics card more power.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
