Over the last 24hrs, without experiencing a driver or OS update, my HP Omen 17t Ck000 laptop started experiencing an FPS drop during gaming (Apex Legends), additionally, outside of games, there was a noticeable slowing of the device when doing normal activities like opening google chrome or anything else. The device is not overheating and was used as heavily as usual prior to this episode. I have since updated all the drivers, updated the drivers on the graphics card and restarted the computer several times with no change whatsoever. The FPS drop went from 120 fps to 40fps. The delay in opening google chrome went from 0 lag to a noticeable almost 2 second lag. No setting on the laptop was changed prior to this happening.
