One more thing: based on other users reports (on this and other forums), this issue started after updating BIOS to F.08 version. The most irritating thing is that BIOS rollback function is completely useless. There is no one report that any person performed successfully BIOS rollback. I've tried BIOS rollback using BIOS files extracted on disk from SP package, with HP Tools USB drive created from BIOS SP package, using Firmware management from Diagnostic menu launched during booting, including CMOS reset and trying BIOS recovery using Win+B boot shortcut. All ways leads to the same result: BIOS rollback fails with error message about BIOS signature. In BIOS update tool logs you can see that tool looks for .s12 file, but there is no such file extracted from SP BIOS update package.
