Agreed, I was surprised to see it not having such an option, I would rather play on a noisy full speed fan but no thermal issues rather than playing on adaptive fans that kick at the point where the performance is already getting sacrificed.

I concur. I have one of the first HP omen 15 models and have loved using the PC for years. Only thing that would make it better is a simple software update for all the older models that truly need it.
