OMEN by HP Laptop
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I have had this hp omen laptop for less then 20 days and already the fan is making weird noises, being excessively revving and the computers starting to heat up way more than normal, also when I listen real close there is a buzzing noise but that might be normal.

I have updated the bios to no avail.

I asked to where I can replace/repair my laptop as it's still under warranty however I was told to go here for some reason.

If it still does not work you could contact HP phone support to get the unit serviced from the link mentioned in the previous post. If the unit was purchased directly from HP you get a 30-day return window for it also.

Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great. 🙂 Please reach out for any issues and I'll be there to assist you.

CPU Fan noise and PC overheating. Is that right?

Thank you for sharing the issue details. I would like to help you.

As mentioned, if the Fan noise is something like grinding or wining noise.

Also,  if the PC has shutdown of any overheating symptoms, then I recommend you to reach our phone support for any warranty related support options using the link below.

sorry I'm not to sure on how to describe it, I have made a video of the sound that it makes. It's quiet so you have to turn it up a bit to hear it.

I have no problems with shutdown issues however the laptop acts like it needs to go full throttle on any game no matter how graphic intense it is. heats up alot more than a normal comp should no other problems yet though.
