Fans are not working properly after BIOS F.13 Rev.A

I tried everything else, but nothing is working as a solution. Should I stop using my machine? And is it possible from your side to give any ETA for the next BIOS update?

@siskoo, I hear your concern—it must be nerve-wracking to feel the fans suddenly go silent while your laptop is under heavy load, almost like holding your breath in the middle of a sprint.

You don’t need to stop using your machine, but since the fans are your system’s “lungs,” it’s best to play it safe. Keeping Smart Performance Gain off is a good temporary step until HP releases a BIOS patch.

For the HP System Event Utility, you can grab it directly from your laptop’s support page on the official HP website:

Go to support.hp.com.

Enter your product number (OMEN by HP Laptop 17-cm2003nt).

Under Software, Drivers and Firmware, look for “HP System Event Utility” and install the latest version.

This tool helps OMEN Gaming Hub and BIOS talk properly with Windows, so the fans and thermal controls behave as they should.

It is very crystal clear that the problem is related to BIOS power values. I can't find a solution, and HP technical staff don't care about their customers by fixing their BIOS mistake. We shouldn't have bought those laptops.

Yes, that's annoying, there is no new update and I cannot rollback as well.
