May I know all the upgrades I can do to my  HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ec1048ax. I want to know the list of additions (like adding RAM) I can do my Laptop.

RAM: It has8 GB DDR4-3200 SDRAM (1 x 8 GB) now, you can upgrade to

  1. 16GB: add same existing RAM to slot 2 or using the following compatible RAM  https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct8g4sfra32a/ct19572738
  2. 32GB (max) You can upgrade to 32GB (2x16GB) using the following compatible RAM https://www.crucial.com/memory/ddr4/ct2k16g4sfra32a/ct19572763

 

STORAGE: It has 

  • 256 GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 SSD
  • 1 TB 7200

now. You can

  1. Upgrade 256GB PCIe M.2 SSD to 1TB or 2TB using  https://www.crucial.com/ssd/p5-plus/ct2000p5pssd8/ct20114836
  2. or Upgrade 1TB HDD to 1TB or 2TB 2.5"SATA SSD such as  https://www.samsung.com/au/memory-storage/sata-ssd/870-evo-1tb-sata-3-2-5-ssd-mz-77e1t0bw/
  3. Do both 1 & 2.
