Pavillion cc129tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Hi. I know this laptop is not for gaming and I don't expect much. However the fps instantaneously drops when I unplug my charger. I changed my power settings to max performance and changed Nvidia settings and Intel graphics settings accordingly too..Still,there is no change in the frame drop.Does this mean that the laptops battery is unable to power up my graphics card to full potential. Kindly reply.

Welcome to HP Forums, This is a great place to get support, find answers and tips.

I'd like to help.

Playing Games requires the use of the Graphics Card extensively and it needs to receive an optimum amount of power to function as designed.

Since the HP Pavilion - 15-cc129tx is not a High-end Gaming device, it is not designed to make the most of the Graphics Card capability while running on Battery since this will drain the Battery quickly.

You will need to plug in the AC Adapter while playing Games on your Notebook if you want to make full use of the Graphics Card capability.

Thank you. 🙂
