Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, i have the Hp Pavillion Gaming Laptop 15-ec010ax. It started happening recently, there is a process in task manager called "system" or ntoskrnl.exe which randomly takes up 100% of HDD and then everything gets stuck. I either need to force shutdown or wait a long time for it to stop taking up disk space. I have run the 'Long disk test' from the HP support app and the results showed HDD is perfect. So what could be the cause of this issue?

Specs: 256GB SSD and 1TB HDD, 8GB RAM, AMD Ryzen 5 3200, Nvidia GTX 1650.

Please use the following fixes

         https://www.drivereasy.com/knowledge/system-ntoskrnl-exe-high-memory-or-cpu-usage-in-windows-10/

Or rebuild your machine using following steps

1. Download Windows 10 ISO from

               https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software-download/windows10

2. Mount ISO file as a DVD ,

3. Right click setup.exe and Run as Administrator

4. Please REMEMBER to tick keep user files/data and programs/apps

5. Run Windows updates few times (not in one go).

Regards.
