Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello, i recently bought myself this laptop, but noticed that sometimes (probably the graphics driver) keeps crashing while using hybrid mode, didnt have that happen yet while only using dgpu mode. Im trying to figure out whats actually happening

dgpu uses the nvidia board and the latest HP driver is July 19. 2024

igpu or hybrid uses your internal AMD (Radeon graphics) which also has July 19, 2024 driver

Im currently on the latest version available for 23h2 for the amd gpu but on the july version for 24h2, i assume i can just download the updated one from the 24h2 section even tho im on 23h2 right?

If a problem you can always roll the driver back using the device manager

Okay quick Update, even after updating to newest drivers, it still keeps crashing sometimes, windows event viewer shows "display driver amduw23g stopped responding and has successfully recovered" twice in a timespan of 30s

I think this time it was minecraft, the time before it was while starting discord, 1 time in genshin impact iirc.

 The nvidia card should be used for games.  the Hybrid for browsing and video apps

Ikr, and still it keeps crashing the whole laptop sometimes (probably trying to switch between both cards idk)
