HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0047tx
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello I have a gaming laptop HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0047tx which has type c port and HDMI port with 3 USB port

But I purchased a gaming monitor to connect my laptop

but I want to connect my gaming 165hz monitor with my gaming laptop (HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-dk0047tx) using HDMI port in the laptop to display port in my monitor

Is there any way that I can connect or I have to buy something to get this sorted?

No, the HDMI port on your machine is HDMI 2.0 which supports 3840 x 2160 @60Hz. You may be able to get 1920 x 1080 @ 120Hz.  165Hz may only give you 1280 x 720.

Your machine has  1 USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C™ (10 Gb/s signaling rate, Power Delivery 3.0, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge) port.  But it only has 10 Gb/s signaling rate therefore direct USB-C to DP cable to monitor may not give you enough bandwidth for 165Hz monitor with high resolution.

Regards.
