Product: OMEN Laptop - 15-en0008na

I have connected my Omen Laptop - 15 en0008na to my Rift S via mini DP and whilst the RIft S shows as working in the Oculus Software and has sound and white light inside the headset and blue light exterally i have a black screen? Anyone got any thoughts or come across the same issue?
