Hi,

I bought the HP Omen 2018 (OMEN 15-dc0079tx), everything is good so far, but I have the problem with computer programming. The HOME button is missing, but I have found that I can use fn+OMEN key instead of HOME button. However it is not convenient at all, for example when I want to select all text in one line from end to front, I have to press FN+Shift+OMEN key, that is annoying.

I tried to find the mapping key software but it is not working since it is unable to recognize the OMEN key.

Could you please help finding any solutions to use OMEN button as HOME button? If there are any bios update, I am really appreciate it. Thank you in advance for your help.

Hello @Kaweepattc

 

Yes the Omen Home key is setup to only work by pressing both Fn and Omen key.

Otherwise just the Omen key opens the Omen Command Center.

I have not seen any way to change that. Sorry.
