Thanks for the reply and providing the product details. Based on the specifications of your computer, your computer came with a backlit keyboard and the color of the backlight cannot be changed even though the option is available in every Omen Control Panel. For any service options, please contact our phone support.

are you still having the back light issue ?
just feel like sharing
-change the default registry value in Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Hewlett-Packard\HP OMEN Control from 0 to 1
-restart the machine
works like charm to me...

I also have a new Omen 15" laptop and the HPOmen Control Screen does not have a "Lighting" menu option. I do not want to always live with a red backlit keyboard and cannot see the keys when the backlight is off. Has anyone found a solution? Downloading a new version of Omen Control Center does not work as a .DLL is missing. Is there even an option for another color (white)?

3. Error message (if any)
