I have an HP Omen 15 gaming laptop, which was only bought a few months ago. In the last few weeks it has had an issue where sometime it will boot up normally, but other times it will not boot up properly at all. When it has issues, the HP omen logo and loading circle is shown, until a few seconds into booting, when a quiet squeaking sound is heard on the right hand-side of the laptop and then the screen goes to black and does not continue booting up. The laptop is still on, fans are heard and the lights are all on.
I have tried a hard restart and it does not work. This problem occurs randomly. It might boot up with no problems for 3 days and then another day it will have this issue and after multiple tries it will still not work. Then a day later, it will boot up fine again. I am not sure if it is a hard drive issue (it has a 1TB hard drive), since windows and all my content on the laptop is on the 256GB SSD.
I still have the product on warranty, but I would like a better idea of the issue. Since it still works sometimes, I am worried that when I send it in to be repaired the issue will not show itself and thus the product will not be fixed. Any insight or advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

HOW DO I USE DIAGNOSTICS?
HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows is a Windows-based utility that allows you to run diagnostic tests to determine if the computer hardware is functioning properly. The tool runs within the Windows operating system in order to diagnose hardware failures. HP PC Hardware Diagnostics Windows comes pre-installed on new HP computers, but if not on yours, download here:-

Hello Lil_Boy_Blue
Sorry for the delayed response and thank you for the advice. I have tried both forms of hardware diagnostics (from within windows itself and when the error appeared when it was not booting). Both came back with no errors and passing all the tests. However the issue is still there (it will boot up properly and if I then switch it off and switch it on again 30 minutes later the issue I described appears again). Any advice on how to proceed?
