HP Omen 15 battery life

I am interested in purchasing the HP Omen 15 dc-1000(product no. 6CM24AV_1). Here is the link for it:

On the product page, it says its got 10 hours of battery life and 6 hours with video playback. But, people online have been saying that have been getting only about 3 hours of battery life with light use. If this has Nvidia Optimus, it should get about 6-7 hours of battery life. So,

1)what is the battery life with light usage.

2)does it support Nvidia Optimus.

3)Also, is the battery life different between the GTX 1650 and RTX 2060?

I think the older version of the omen did not support Optimus, but could you confirm if this specific model in the link has Optimus or not.

@arby14 That's a good choice, here's all you need to know and I hope this answers all your queries:

1) Battery life mixed usage: Up to 5 hours and 15 minutes (mostly on light usage as its got a 4-cell, 70 Wh Li-ion polymer)

2) Support for Nvidia Optimus: click here for supported GPUs & know that you can customize the product at HP online store before purchasing it, hence you can select the GPU that supports optimus as per the service and maintenance guide on page. 6 Chapter 1 Product description: click here to access the file.

3) Estimated battery life:

• RTX 2060 - minimum - 3.8 Hours / maximum - 4.1 Hours
• GTX 1650 - minimum - 6.5 Hours / maximum - 7 Hours

Just to clear up any confusion from the Nvidia link posted above...

Technically several of Nvidia's mobile cards support Optimus, but HP disabled that function in the new dc1XXX series.

Also note in NVIDIA's support list, the RTX series is not listed.

In the previous dc0XXX series, Optimus was ONLY SUPPORTED with the GTX 1050 cards.

If you read the manual, Optimus no longer exists in the dc1000 series.
