I bought this laptop last December 2017 and I noticed that the touchpad is bulging out. I still didn't open the laptop to see if the battery is really swollen but I can tell it because of the touchpad. The warranty has expired. I plan to open the laptop later to see if the battery is really swollen in case it is really swollen I also plan to just use it without the internal battery, is it appropriate or should i just replace the battery? I asked the service center and they said that it will cost $170 and will take at least 30-60 days. Thank you.

you really can't that the touchpad is bulging out but it is bulging out. Btw, I'm from the Philippines.
