Hello there, I need some help regarding my laptop's panel. It's a 60Hz panel and was wondering if there are any compatible upgrade panels that it can use. I badly need it for gaming improvement. There is a 144Hz version of the laptop but as I don't have it I don't know what the panel's name is and if the pins will fit my laptop and will function correctly on it. Anyone has any idea or solution that can help me? I'm a newbie regarding these stuff, any help would be great. I'm also a student with a small budget so I don't want to go and buy a wrong panel in the market if there is a compatible one out there, I wouldn't be able to afford another.
I've looked into it a bit and found this video. But I don't know if what the comments say are true and if the suggested panels function properly with my laptop. Please help! Here's the link to the video:

Welcome to the HP Support Community @Yaredium
I have seen others post about the same thing but never seen someone post back with success or failure ???
We can give you the information but you would need to decide if you want to try.
The easiest thing would be to find the complete Display Assemble.
But that may not work because of the thickness difference???
The parts you will need are on page 27-28.

Thank you for such a quick response, @REO51ST.
Based on what you've said I just need to get the panel (15.6 in, FHD 144Hz NB - L24376-001) and display panel cable (FHD 144 Hz/UHD, 40 pin - L24384-001) for it to work, right? Seems that thickness would also be an issue so I also need the back cover (1.1 mm, for FHD 144 Hz/UHD LCD panel - L32773-001) is that right? Didn't know it'd be this hard to tell you the truth, lol.
I need to brush up on how to replace laptop panels, really appreciate you helping & teaching me.

I think that is the reason I have not seen anyone post back after trying.
It involves more parts and time than they thought.
These videos will help if you decide to give it a go.
