The new firmware for the HP Zbook G5 17 have the same fault like the older one. Yes, I can close the lid and open again, sometimes I have a "normal" ntoskrnl-process, and sometimes the ntoskrnl.exe system process is very high. For me, it's not a workaround!

I've bought an expensive CAD-Notebook and I bought this computer to have more power to make my 3D-animations.  Now, I have to send my Notebook to HP and they would like to repair my computer!? I hope, they can manage it.

Are there any other user with a HP Zbook G5 with the same problem!?

Thank you for letting me know that you will be sending your notebook to HP for repair.  I have escalated your post for further review and contact.

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
