@Oemer0881, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
f your HP Omen 17 does not turn on, does not produce any fan sounds, and there are no LED indicators, it indicates a possible power issue. Here is a step-by-step guide to troubleshoot the problem:
Check the Power Connection:
- Ensure that the power adapter and charging cable are properly connected to the laptop and a working electrical outlet.
- Try using a different charger if possible.
Inspect for External Damage:
- Check for any visible damage to the power adapter or charging port.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove any external peripherals.
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds to drain any residual power.
- Reconnect the power adapter and try to turn on the laptop.
Check the Battery:
- If possible, remove the battery (for models with removable batteries) and try booting the laptop with only the power adapter connected.
Try Another Outlet:
- Plug the laptop into a different outlet to rule out issues with the current outlet.
Check for Signs of Life:
- Listen closely for any faint sounds or check for any blinking lights that might indicate the device is trying to start.
