Omen 17t
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After updating to F.06 Rev A bios, I notice the keyboard backlight went away.

Already tried Omen Control app, pressing F4 (with and without Fn key), etc. Rebooting, unplugging and discharging, etc etc.

Any ideas?

Ive never heard of this happening before.

Have you also tried resetting the bios?

Go into bios from F10 on boot and inside, F10 again will reset bios.

I believe the only other bios setting for the 17T 000 series is to enable and disable the Fn key. I dont know if that will have any affect either.

Only other option would be to contact HP Support for a warranty issue.

Searching, I've seen several similar reports. Even downgrading the bios doesn't seem to do it... I'm out of ideas.

im not sure if you can successfully downgrade that bios either. A lot of HPs dont do that, even though they say you can.

Better contact Support if you still have a warranty.
