Once in a week/days, the laptop screen starts to flicker with horizontal/vertical lines and it goes away in a minute after I move my mouse or restart the laptop or sometimes on its own. I do not know what is causing this as it a brand new laptop (Jan 2020).
Windows and drivers are up to date as checked-in HP Support Assistant and windows update tool.
The latest it occurred yesterday when I closed the chrome and suddenly the desktop screen started to flicker with horizontal/vertical lines. It went away in a few seconds. (Power not plugged in)
Please let me know what is causing this issue as it is not replicating now and it happens suddenly.

@TarunNarang, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Do you see any damages on the screen or is the panel loose?
As you have already checked for windows updates and updates via HPSA,
Let us run a test on the hardware components of the PC
- Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
- Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
- Perform SystemTest > Extensive test. Share the result on your next post.
You may also perform a Video test under the Components test. Share the results in your next post.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
