Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having a problem with my battery - it won't power my laptop. This means that whenever I unplug my laptop from a power outlet, it shuts down immediately. I'm able to charge the battery, but it just won't power the laptop. I did the recent BIOS update, checked my settings to make sure there was nothing obvious I was missing.

So I ran the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics tool and the Battery Check test failed with the following error code: 67NK1D-9MPA1D-MFPW2K-C0B013

The laptop is about 6 months old so I still have the warranty but it seems weird that the battery is having issues like this. Mind you, I've had this issue for at least 3 months now. I just haven't needed to unplug it much so I didn't realise it was having a problem.

I also ran the battery check in HP Support Assistant and these are the results:

I reviewed your post and I understand that the computer shuts down when you unplug the charger.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

I checked the failure ID you have shared and looks like the battery is gone bad. I recommend you contact support and they will assist you in this regard.
