HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop - 16-a0002nq
Microsoft Windows 11

I have a problem: when I want to play any game, no matter the minimum requirements for the game (I keep my settings on low or medium for most of my games), my CPU is overheating, the temperature is getting up to 100 degrees Celsius and stays there.  I have all of my drivers up to date, my BIOS too. When I play games, I always keep my laptop on the cooling pad, but it doesn't do any good, it still overheats. My graphics card stays at about 50 - 60 degrees (maximum for challenging games).
Do I need to change the thermal paste or what can I do?
