I stupidly purchased the HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop a couple of years ago, I barely use it as it is unusable. Takes ages to boot, can take a while to respond in lock screen to enter your security pw/pin, then when you are in windows. You try to open up any application, whether a browser or other app and there is little to no response. You seen to have to wait 20/30 mins for it to settle before you can do anything, and even then you are randomly searching or doing some thing and it stuffers, freezes etc  for minutes at a time before it responds. it is false advertising, if not fraud, calling this a gaming laptop let alone anything else. My mid range phone out performs this at most tasks. I bouht it as our housegold lptop so we can do the household admin, finances, word, excel, then i though get gaming one so i can go back to pc gaming rather thna just xbox, but clearly HP have a different idea.  Believe me we are not even pushing it to it's limits. This happens even right after a fresh install. so even before you loaded it up with what you actually want to use if for it's already struggling with the base install.

No chance of playing a game on it what so ever, I like COD, forget it. The times i have loaded it on, it takes forever due to teh poor performance in general, then  if you actually get to open the game up (again expect a long wait), it stutters and freezes... Completely unplayable, completely unusable even as a basic device. device, False claim calling it a gaming lap top. it might have the badges, but not the perfomance.

I have formatted re-installed, updated drivers, firmware etc, removed stuff i don't want, but it operates worse than an old P1. I even updated Win 11 when the opportunity arose. I have no idea what HP have done to trhsi line of so called gaming laptops, but it can't even function doing basic browsing and admin tasks

To think i bought this to replace my lenovo which eventually died a death, which performed brilliantly at all times.

HP should be ashamed of this as clearly it is a larger issue not a one off.

My marginally lower spec work laptop, not even gaming (as in no gaming graphic card is basically a main difference) from dell is a far better machine than this heap of trash.
