Hi All
I recently purcahsed a HP Laptop 15-dc0075TX and a HP USB-C Dock G4 recommended by the HP Sales agent.
The power button and the charging does seem to be working. The rest of the ports seem to be working etc such as Ethernet, DisplayPort etc.
I have the latest drivers installed from HP's site and also running the latest version of Windows 10 Home.
Any thoughts as to why this isn't working? I've read the troubleshooting guide and can't find any useful information.
Maybe a BIOS setting?

Hello @PHLTHS,
You were referring to passthrough charging using the USB-C Dock G4 - correct? And your laptop has a Thunderbolt 3 port?
The funny thing is that there is no mention of Power Delivery support for this computer's Thunderbolt 3 port. I would usually think that Thunderbolt 3 would allow PD passthrough charging no matter what but this seems to be the first outlier.
Therefore, it seems that charging can only be done through the designated charging port on the OMEN by HP - 15-dc0075tx.
Kind regards,
Eddy

Hi Eddy
Thank you for that information. Do you know why then the power button isn't working either?
