I recently bought an HP-Victus 15 Fa1093dx and i found that it has only 1 M.2 slot with 512gb of storage. Now, i want to upgrade and get a 2tb ssd m.2 gen4 for my laptop, so i was wondering does my laptop support that capacity as i read that the slot supports up to 1tb, so is really there a limit for the storage?
Thanks in advance.

Theoretically, there is no limit to the storage capacity of a NVMe SSD you can install in your notebook as long as the SSD is single-sided so that it fits in the M.2 slot.

The storage capacities listed in the service manual are just what HP offered in the model series, not the maximum capacity supported.

I see no reason whatsoever as to why a 2 TB PCIe Gen 4 x 4 NVMe SSD wouldn't work just fine in your notebook.

Crucial sells NVMe SSDs up to 4 TB for the model series.
