Hello dear forum members,
I'm dealing with a serious disappointment with HP. With the aim of video editing (including 4k), this week I bought a brand new HP Victus 16 e1011nt gaming laptop with the configuration below:
HP Victus 16 e1011nt
AMD Ryzen 5 6600H
8GB DDR5 RAM
512GB SSD
4GB GeForce RTX 3050TI
Windows 11
At the beginning I had lots of problems with the wifi and bluetooth drivers as HP website doesn't supply these drivers. The customer service connected remotely and installed drivers from different sources (Lenovo's website etc). Afterwards I started to get crashes at every 5th minutes with blue screen and DPU Watchdog Violation. The customer service did some more updates and it became able to work in idle mode. I have the latest drivers of all the hardware.
But when I try to run 4k 60 fps videos on Youtube, the CPU overheats and PC crashes giving complete black or white screen. I can only intervene it by using power button. The crash happens almost 30% of the times when I test it. When it is running the 4k video online, CPU goes to 95-100 % usage, CPU temp doesn't get below 68-70 degrees celcius, cooling fans are working actively. Also the video plays with lags and sound cracks. The 4k videos downloaded to PC also doesn't play correctly with VLC player, lagging and freezing.
The crashes seems to decrease as I use the PC, this morning I didn't have any crash but I'm not sure whether this whole situation is normal. Might there be a hardware issue ? In the future I will be using this PC for video editing (generall 1080P 30 fps, occasionally 4k fps) and it doesn't give me any feeling of trust. I'm considering to return it on Monday.
Could you please provide your opinion on this issue ?
Kind regards.

Hello again,
Below are the screenshots of idle state and working state while and online 4k 60 fps video playing. I've done many tests today but didn't have any crash. But still can't play 4k videos, especially offline ones.
I realized also some new things. GPU clock is always stuck at 210 MHz even at working mode and screen refresh rate is stuck at 64 Hz although it has a 144 Hz screen. Also the ultimate and high performance power plans are not available, I couldn't add them manually
Thank you again for your support.

Hey again,
Yes I downloaded and installed the drivers at the step (1), limited the max CPU usage to 98%. However the ultimate power plan option is missing, only "Balanced" option is available. I remember that "High performance" option was available before.
Still can't play the 4k videos in different video players. I tried different videos from different sources btw. Having a constant GPU Clock at 210 MHz is normal ?
