@member121212121, Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Charging Options for HP Victus 16-d1065TX!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Required Charger Wattage:
- The HP Victus 16-d1065TX typically requires a 200W charger for optimal performance, as mentioned online. Using a charger with less wattage might work in some scenarios but could lead to slower performance or charging, and might not charge the laptop at all when turned on.
Charging via USB-C:
- While your laptop may support USB-C charging, it is important to note that the charging capability through USB-C ports on some HP laptops might be limited, particularly to certain conditions, such as charging only when the laptop is turned off. This functionality can depend on the specific design and hardware configuration of the laptop. Unfortunately, if your laptop is designed to only allow USB-C charging while off, there might not be a way to change this unless supported by HP through firmware updates.
Special Adapters or Chargers:
- To ensure proper charging, it is recommended to use a compatible HP charger specifically designed for your laptop model.
Charging from a TV:
- Charging your HP Victus via a TV is not possible as TVs do not provide the necessary power or interface for charging laptops. They typically have outputs for display rather than sufficient power outputs for devices like laptops.
Hope this helps!
Take care, and have an amazing day!
